School Readiness Program

Transition year before school

Supporting a Confident Transition to School

Starting school is a big milestone! Our School Readiness Program helps your child feel confident, capable, and excited for this next chapter. Through engaging, play-based experiences, we support children in developing essential skills that will help them thrive in a structured school environment.

Preparing for a Smooth Transition

As children move to big school, we focus on their overall development—not just literacy and numeracy. Our goal is to ensure they have:

  • An icon of an eye with rays emanating from it inside a circular brown background.

    A Strong Sense of Identity

  • Icon of three people connected in a hierarchy, representing teamwork or collaboration.

    Connection to Community

  • A white outline of a person with a sun above their head, standing with arms outstretched, inside a stylized leaf with a check mark on it, all on a brown circular background.

    Wellbeing & Resilience

  • Icon of a person with arms raised, a star above their head, and lines indicating excitement or achievement, set against a brown circular background.

    Confidence in Learning

  • Chatbot icon with speech bubbles on a brown circular background.

    Effective Communication

How We Support School Readiness

We weave school-readiness skills into everyday moments, making learning fun and engaging. Our educators provide:

  • Encouraging curiosity, questioning, and hands-on discovery to build problem-solving skills.

  • Balancing guided learning with child-led exploration to develop confidence in different learning environments.

  • Providing opportunities for collaboration, communication, and active participation.

  • Helping children make sense of the world around them through engaging activities and discussions.
