A Simple and Supportive Enrolment Process

At Stepping Stones @ Yerrabi Ponds, we believe children learn best when encouraged to follow their natural curiosity. Our approach is centred around inquiry-based learning, where children are active participants in their own education, supported by experienced educators and a thoughtfully designed environment.

Why Choose Stepping Stones?

Our family-owned and operated centre follows a child-led, inquiry-based approach. This encourages independence and meaningful learning experiences. Our educators guide children through everyday experiences that allow them to build confidence in their own abilities, which is vital for their transition into primary education.

Our Enrolment Process

Our enrolment process is straightforward, ensuring you know what to expect at each step.

    Join the Waitlist

If you’re not ready to start care or if our centre is currently full, we can add your child to our waitlist. Our team will keep you updated and notify you as soon as a place becomes available.

  • Flowchart with four steps showing a path through a process, with step 4 highlighted in the final box.

    Enrolment & First Day Prep

Once your child is offered a place, our Centre Manager will guide you through enrolment and required documents. We’ll also arrange a ‘stay and play’ session to help your child settle in before their first day.

Fees & Child Care Subsidy (CCS)

We know that understanding childcare fees is important for families. The Child Care Subsidy (CCS) can help reduce out-of-pocket costs, making early learning more accessible. Eligibility and subsidy amounts vary based on household income, activity levels, and other factors. For more details on how CCS works and to check your eligibility, visit the Australian Government’s CCS page
