A New Chapter, Built on Trusted Foundations

Stepping Stones @ Yerrabi Ponds is a newly rebranded early learning centre, now proudly family-owned and led by Fiona O’Donnell — a trusted name in early childhood education with deep roots in the local community.

With refreshed spaces, a new name, and a clear focus on relationships, inquiry-led learning and community connection, Stepping Stones is about continuing something meaningful — and bringing it into a new season with warmth and care.

While the look may be new, the values behind it are familiar: genuine care, high-quality education, and strong partnerships with families.

A Message from Fiona

Approved Provider

Hi, I’m Fiona, the provider behind Stepping Stones at Yerrabi Ponds and a proud advocate for children with over 30 years of experience in early childhood education.

My journey has taken me from hands-on work in early learning to supporting child soldiers in Uganda and presenting research around the world. At the heart of it all is one simple goal: to create safe, nurturing environments where every child’s rights are respected and their well-being is a priority.

Our centre in Yerrabi Ponds is built on those values, with a focus on kindness, gratitude, empathy, and strong relationships with families. I’m so excited to bring this space to life and can’t wait to welcome you soon.
